Navjyothi Seva Samithi is also involved in collection and free distribution of clothes during times of distress like fire accidents, rains and other natural calamities.

Clothes are being collected from donors for distribution to the needy. Arrangements have also been made with well-wishers to distribute clothes in the slums when necessary.

1088 blankets have been distributed in 2007 to poor widows from the slums and remote villages of Kancheepuram District.

Since this is an ongoing project we are looking out for sponsors who can donate INR 100 or more for the Clothes to the Needy Project.
