Navjyothi Seva Samithi is a registered Social Service Organisation in Chennai that concentrates on the upliftment of poor children and helpless widows in the slums and villages.

Navjyothi strives to contribute for building a society where the deprived and the neglected stand equal with others with confidence and optimism, to help them grow spiritually and psychologically enjoying all their basic rights, especially basic education, food, clothing, health and spiritual growth.

With these objectives Navjyothi Seva Samithi run many projects like Primary School, Free Education Support to poor children in Chennai, Food to the Needy, Free Clothes Distribution & Clothes Bank in Chennai & Women Self Groups (Mathru Sangam ), Free Family and Individual Counselling & Christmas Gifts to Poor Children..

Navjyothi strongly believes and strictly follows transparency and accountability in all its activities and in the managing of funds. The projects are run with the support of many philanthropists from all over India and abroad.

Started in 1995, Navjyothi now completes 17 years of service to the humanity and a Ray of Hope to many neglected souls.
